On June 19, 2025 and June 20, 2025, we held the first ever Alberta Social Psychology Symposium at the University of Calgary! We brought together over 80 faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate students to participate in poster sessions, talks, and discussions on social psychology. Dr. Michael Wohl gave us an incredible keynote (please see ASPS 2025). Several researchers have us insightful presentations: Dr. Alain Morin, Dr. Ruth Pogacar, Dr. Ken Ito, Dr. Lia Daniels, and Dr. April McGrath and Natalie McCallum (please see ASPS 2025). We also had poster presentations from undergraduate and graduate students (please see the abstracts in the ASPS 2025 program).
The second-annual ASPS will be taking place this April 30 and May 1, 2026. Please see the ASPS 2026 sub-section of the website for more information. Thank you for making our first symposium a success, and we hope to see you again this spring!
