SCIP Funding Resources

Hello from SCiP!

Are you between the ages of 13-25 and have a project you want to bring to life? The Young Edmonton Grants (YEG) program is now accepting applications for grants of up to $3,000 to support youth-led activities. Applications can be found here:http://ecfgrants.getopenfield.com/young-edmonton-grants-2014/.

Don’t have a project but still want to be involved? YEG is also seeking members for its advisory committee. Committee members are also between 13-25 and are responsible for reviewing YEG applications. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the charitable sector and support some really fantastic projects. No experience is required, but you must be able to commit to two meetings a year (on Saturdays), provide feedback for each application, and maintain confidentiality. To apply for the committee, send an email expressing interest to yeg@ecfoundation.org.

Deadline for both is February 15, 2016.

Thanks,
The SCiP Team
