China has one of the leading populations of adolescents in\nthe world, and more research is needed to better understand the development of\nproblem behaviors in Chinese children and adolescents. As the first step, we\nare conducting a comprehensive and systematic literature review of all studies\nthat have examined various problem behaviors (e.g., alcohol use, tobacco use,\nrisky sexual behavior) in Chinese children and adolescents, published in\nChinese (Mandarin) and English. Meta-analyses will follow to summarize previous\nfindings. This endeavor could better elucidate prevalence, group differences,\nsecular trends, developmental patterns, risk and protective factors, as well as\ndevelopmental outcomes of problem behaviors in Chinese adolescents and guide\nfuture research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have concluded the project on alcohol use.
